Thanks for checking in. I didn't mean to disappear, I've just had a lot going on.

I really like the new place. The neighborhood is great too, much more convenient.
The best part, however, is I have detached from my ex. I don't even want him back anymore. It's such a relief to feel this way. Highly recommend it. Ha!

I still haven't found a way that I can stay in the US. Unfortunately there is no way around it, Europe, here we come.
We have an appt with a mediator coming up, but I'm worried it could turn ugly and we'll end up with lawyers in stead.

I take it then that your daughter was not born in the US?

Is there any US company that will hire you for unique skills? (Language if not English?)

Have you talked to an immigration lawyer?

I'm also a foreign national so throwing some ideas out there...
