Great for you Thornton. I also got a work out in, actually two. First I did a 2.5 mile jog, WW actually passed me while I was jogging. On her way home from work I am guessing. After that I came home at dinner and went to lift (I did some running there too). I really think at this pace the 5K will not be much of a problem. Getting an actual good time might be a problem but at least I know I can finish it, and like I said I am not a runner.

I cannot imagine you will never talk to W again. I do not know when or if you will get back together, but I am sure you will talk. Maybe that is wrong for me to say and keep detaching but I just feel that way.

That's awesome on the workouts!

I don't know how you run haha!

I don't mind short bursts, ie playing football or tennis. But I think I have an allergy to the long distance stuff. The symptoms are awful - shortness of breath and a desire to stop running. smile

It was gorgeous in PA today. high of like 70. Pups got an extra long afternoon walk after class.

I've had two knee surgeries after a high school injury while in friggen theater class so running and me are not friends :P

Fo' Sho'. I know I'm healthier. Given, my eating habits blow (one meal a day is not sustainable, but I'm not going to force it yet), but hey, 30 lbs down and 2 hours of walking the pups a day and physically, I feel better than I have in years

It's the stupidest story ever. I wish I could say like I was doing a black diamond up at Copper and blew out my knee or something.
But alas, we were in theater. Had to take a dance class to "get in touch with our bodies"
I stood up wrong and dislocated my knee.
Queue 2 knee surgeries.

Sparks, drink protein shakes. Very easy to chug down, taste like a milk shake and will keep you fueled.

I can only imagine one meal a day is also contributing how crappy you feel emotionally.

I have 2 or 3 protein shakes a day and they really help me.

Haha! You certainly got in touch with your body! Particularly your knee!

You can always say you blew your knee out on the black diamond at Copper. I won't tell anyone smile
