Had a little talk with XF, she called about S4 related stuff. She sounded cold, distant and miserable all wrapped into one. I just listened to what she called about, in a nice time at the end asked her if everything was alright. Got the "I'm fine" and left it at that. Obviously she wasn't but it's not my problem to fix, I felt like a good person by at least asking.

Good for you Uphill. It is really tough to keep validating when they are always so miserable. But you showed compassion which is important, maybe not to them but for our own well being. Knowing we can show compassion to someone who has hurt us so much is important. Hats off to ya!

It's just so confusing. A week ago she actually said that she loved me, that leaving me was the biggest mistake of her life and joking about how some things I bought for the house won't match her stuff when she comes back. Now it's back to this? Yeah well, blinders are going back on, me and S4 are gonna have an awesome time with or without her!

I think this is why we need to believe nothing they say. I know we try hard when it isnt what we like, but for some reason when they something we want to hear we jump all over it.
There is going to be a bunch of flipping back and forth, you can not think anything until you see actions.
Im not saying that you cant help along if you feel it is warranted, but until there is even a glimmer of real action from her then just have to wait.
