Agree w/ all the positive feedback. Your WH is stupid. Just dumb. Not to sound crass...but you were a pretty sweet meal ticket! lol!!

If the dogs are important...which it sounds like it...then do what you must. Also...I'm w/ you on creating scenarios in your mind. When there is NC it is my 'go to' to completely manufacture a conversation/situation in my head. Everything from EA/PA ideations to simple 'fights' over stupid comments. You're not alone, or strange in that aspect.
