Ding ding ding! You get the prize for getting this exactly right! At least this is how it was for me. Being rejected is bad enough. But knowing that you're not undesirable to everyone-- just the only person you're sposed to be having sex with-- makes an awful dilemna. I used to say, "it's like I'm starving to death, but you aren't hungry, so I can't have something to eat". If everyone saw you as asexual/undesirable, it wouldn't help your PMA, but at least it doesn't cause the angst of being rejected at home, while having to turn down interesting offers.
