Yeah I told him once, I will be a coparent and polite but we are NOT going to be bff's like he thinks. HE wants me to still come to holidays, birthdays, everything even while divorced. Like best friends! That is why I'm like should I be more distant or not. His parents want the same for me to come to christmas, thanksgiving etc as his divorced wife. I'm like ummm no.
Today he called to re-ask permission to come over(boundaries are working so far), I said yes. I tried getting off the phone he asked why I always try to rush off the phone. I'm like oh, is there something else you want to talk about? He was like..well no but you always rush off.
