I'm no expert and going through my own issues but it sounds like he is going through a MLC just like my wife. If you guys get a D than he can do what ever he wants without consequences or feeling guilty after all you are D. I'm also terrified of being single and a father to three young kids, today I had to make the hardest decision in my life and let go. You have an advantage of not having kids not that makes it easier but it wI'll also make it less painful, really think about what you want your life to be. Do I want to live with him and only be roommates?
