Ggrass has some good ideas on how to broach the subject...but here's another one that might pave the wave for a conversation w/your h. You could say something like "H, have you given any thought as to what you are going to do in the future?" That will give him something to think about.
Always remember, lip service is just that...but if he truly wants to reconcile, he will have to do the heavy lifting in convincing you that you are number one in his heart. Your h may have a lot of work to do before returning, i.e., that is if you still want him to return.
Until then, continue moving forward.
Sit quietly, the answers will reveal themselves when you least expect them to. The past is gone, the present is a gift and you need to focus on today, allow the future to reveal itself when it is ready.
