Because you don't have mutual children or even young step children you feel that you have no way to interact or let him know you're still alive so you panic every few weeks and go over there and leave feeling worse than when you got arrived.
Now... If his kids/family/friends/co-workers have FB then THEY can do your job for you. And the best part beyond you not having to feel humiliated and rejected is that eventually it'll piss ow off to no end. And really MB? Isn't that what its all about anyway?!
