Went to the game, sat where the group chose, which was about 6 rows behind W and to the right. No sign of OW anywhere, but I didn't spend much time looking around the arena. There was an empty seat just behind W, who was sitting with all our mutual friends. So I decided it was time to go down there and say hi to the peeps. I strode down there, tapped a few shoulders, got hugs and high fives and smiles all around. I tapped W on the shoulder and she turned around. Looked a little tense. Said, "I wondered if you'd be here." Then proceeded to ask me about house stuff -- specifically the email I never responded to. Then friends right next to her turned around to tell me about their recent trip, and I could tell W wanted to say more to me. She had to wait. More stupid house stuff. She asked who I was there with. Then she mentioned something about the half-time presentation -- which she was a part of. When she got up to do the presentation, I stayed a few more minutes, then went back to my seat with the people I came with. I watched her come off the floor, and she didn't once look up to see where I was. Sigh. When she came back to her seat she was texting a lot, but she always does that, so I didn't worry too much about whether or not she was texting OW. She seemed very happy with her friends, but so did I with mine. Who knows what's really up? That was that.
Then I went out for a beer and some food with the people I came with. It was nice and I did a great job of GALing. I did enjoy myself, even if part of it was acting as if.
I don't think I cried today, which might be the first time in 2.5 months. I have plans for the rest of the weekend. And there's another game on Sunday. But I think I'll skip it. I made my appearance, and now I have better things to do. Maybe.

Can't wait to hear about MB's night out!

Well done, I'm so proud of you. I'm happy to hear that you had a good night. I know someone who left her H for OM and she told me that she was acting as if and pretended to be happy, but there was a lot of struggle within herself!

If you enjoy the game, go out again next week as I feel you shouldn't stop doin something you like because of your W and OW.

WooHoo NYGal! So glad you decided to go to the game. Also glad you didn't have to see OW. But, if you had, you would have handled it beautifully I just know it. I agree with Rouky that you should go to the game on Sunday. This time, get there with your friends so YOU can pick the spot. Then, pick one that is below your W so she can sit there and wonder what YOU are doing instead of you sitting there watching her smile, talk and text. Let her wonder about you for a change. Great job getting out an acting as if. So happy for you. Oh, and when you go Sunday, DONT talk to W unless she comes up to YOU. If she's with a group, you can say Hello....but, other than that, make her come to you. I'm rooting for you!!!

You can call me Dory/ Grl.

It's no use to go back to yesterday because I was a different person then.

Thanks for all your encouragement. I'm glad I went. Confusing mix of feelings this morning, and didn't sleep well. One of the dogs has a sick tummy so we were up 3 times in the night. W hasn't asked about the dogs once. But then we've barely communicated.
I wish I could just spend the day with you all.

It's strange, isn't it? A crazy kind of roller coaster that you never could have imagined even existed before it all started happening.

Would be such fun to hang out all together smile

I'm glad you went, NY.

How is your poor dog doing? I'm hope he or she is on the mend.

How is the living situation going? Do you interact a lot with the other people or do you guys mostly keep to yourself. I wouldn't actually mind the company myself.
