Also..I gave my kids mail to give to ex and I slipped a Christmas card I had gotten her but she had not got. In it I enclosed a $20 Powerball ticket. I wrote " If you win, I want 1/2 which would be about $200 million after taxes. Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday"

IMhO: the powerball ticket/note (again, I get you were sending humor/olive branch), but is a rookie mistake. Set a goal for yourself about how long you can go without thinking about ways to interact with her.
