LBH w/ a WXW after the D - now what

She's upping the ante too. She started by wearing 2 silver rings I bought her to go with her wedding band. She use to wear the 3 rings together.

Then she was wearing one silver and the gold band. Tonight she is wearing all 3 rings.....

I won't let her know I even noticed.

Has she brushed by you, paused and stared at you in the last couple days?

no brush by's but this morning she stepped in the office asking about my mortgage process which will pay out her equity. After I answered her she stood in the doorway staring at me as if she wanted to say something or wanted me to say something.

What do I want? I don't miss who she has become. I do miss the dream of marriage, the dream of growing old together, the family unit. I do realize it was only a dream because our marriage was not healthy.
I do believe, with some help, we could be healthy again. Maybe Gods plan is to bring beauty from ashes. If it is I'm open to it.

G, I think that is a perfect place to be for you, and me right now. I completely get it. My xw isn't the person I love, it's more like the ghost of her. I hope that it is God's plan. for you, me and everyone else that is trying to R.

I agree thrice. I'm so happy for you, where you're at. Knowing what you want, and not putting up with c**p, is awesome stuff.

In the last 48 hours I'm to a place where I'm ok now with the M burning to the ground. Lots of pain ahead, but I'm not getting consumed with the fire. I put my firehose away, stopped spraying water on the dumpster fire, and have started to move on.

For several months now I've been hearing God tell me to WAIT.....wait on Him.....He is working....stay out of His way. He has given me so many reminders even to the point of the morning of the D I went to the church for a men's prayer group. One of the guys grabbed the senior pastor to pray with us. He told me to wait. He said do not be anxious to move on to another relationship and that you never know what God has planned so stay out of His way and let Him work. Then even this morning as I was reading the daily verses sent out from our church I read Romans 12:12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer

She has healing that has not yet begun.

She's trying to eat candy before supper. She won't realize she's missing the meal, and will get a false fullness from it.

You charted a course, and will need to make course corrections to stay on target.

Her staying in the house is the iceberg to the Titanic. At least someone turned the lights on for you - steer clear.

Her gentleness the last couple weeks helps me leave the door open for R. I'm not hopeful for it but not shutting the door either. I will date. I believe this will help me remember how I deserve to be treated.
