Fo2. I really don't think it's hopeless at all. I think most women have that problem after kids and it's never too late. Just tons of core stabilization (pelvic floor stuff works too) and making sure your performing exercises correctly. Then the cardio and diet which is crucial for weight loss.

JellyB. I don't have background in exercise physiology geared for weight loss, just for rehab...but I just watched some of those kettle bell classes on you tube. Just like with cross fit, I think you would need to have a really great instructor because unless you had exceptional core stability starting out I can see how easy it would be to compensate and injure yourself. I was pretty athletic prior to kids and have a pretty extensive background and very good body awareness and I don't think I would be able to perform those exercises correctly at the pace I was observing the classes are run. What seems good though is that it's a lot of multiplaner functional movement patterns and eccentric loading. That's just my opinion though.

Jelly B when you exercise do you monitor and maintain heart rate at appropriate levels for the recommended duration? I think it's as simple as that. personally I would do this and just change it up. Make sure it's things that are fun to you. Swimming, biking, speed walking, dancing.

Pig pen what are your thoughts?
