Thanks Inpain, I think now I have reached the point where I don't care anymore. If he really wanted to come back, he'd have done it by now.
I think he's having a MLC and he's going out like a single man! His path, his journey not mine. I decide to love myself and to be happy and it has started a couple of days ago!
I'm gone and done. H doesn't know what he has lost and probably will never realised that. I know what I have lost and looking back after the honeymoon period H wasn't there for me, so really I don't miss him. I miss the company but I'm afraid to say not him anymore!
What a difference changing year as on me. Ok woke up with a slight headache. Had friends over last night and I don't drink. Well now I can't say I don't drink anymore :-). I had such a great time. I couldn't have finished 2015 and starting 2016 on such a high note :-).
Woke up this morning feeling so light, at peace and beautiful. It felt like a new me has emerged! Spending a quiet day with my kids. I love it.
H texted me about picking kids up. He even said hi, then got a text straight after about asking if my dog was ok because of fireworks! WTF he never queries about the dog!
I have so much thing I want to do for this coming year that I'm buzzing! I'm feeling alive again.
Turned down a date as it didn't feel right and was proud of myself as I'd have usually accepted because of low self-esteem but not this time. I know what I want and I won't settle for less. I'm worth it.

OMG Rouky I laughed out loud reading your post! I have to say that I am giddy with excitement about your slight headache! I just said a prayer of thank you for the moment of peace that you are having. It is an harbor of things to come. Proud of you for turning down that dud who mistakenly thought that he had a chance with you! There are going to be many, many more men who attempt to get your attention and you better choose one at least as hot as me and he better exceed all of your standards.
I am so happy for you and I can sense the strength and confidence growing in you and it is picking me up as well. The energy from your post is flooding everyone who reads it. Keep up the good work and lets keep moving forward as it sure beats looking back!

Ow! Thank you everyone. Had a great day with kids. We took the dog for a walk and was doing silly things all along! Nothing to worry until I got beeped by a lot of people. Was having a great laugh, even the girls enjoyed it!
On H front. Just reporting and I'm not doing any mind reading. H texted to say he'll pick up the kids early so could I give them tea. No problem. He came to pick them up but said it was too cold to go out, so would I mind if he stayed. I said fine and got on with what I had planned to do. He stayed way longer than usual. Even put the kids to bed and read them a story! Now that's funny because the last time he did that it was the day before I confronted him for being was back with OW!
Usually he'd say bye on his way out. Today he made the effort to come to me! I thanked him and said that I appreciated everything he did tonight. Wished him a good night and he said the same! That was strange.
I realised that he is part of my life because of kids, no matter what. I can't explain it but had no expectation, was pleasantly surprised but it didn't impact me at all.
