I caught up a little bit on your thread. I think there are two schools of thought about relationships.... When you stop looking love will come your way aka live your life. Or putting yourself out there you will find what you are looking for (perhaps especially true in the age of online dating).
Try to figure out what it is you want... companionship or a love story. Companionship could just be friends or meet up groups, etc, instead of looking for Mr Right.
