Heather, I am sorry you felt disrespected by Matt. The holidays are tough. We all want that Christmas miracle story of love and reconciliation. I understand your anger but that time and energy can never be reclaimed. At this point it is not about learning to care for Matt less but dedicating ALL your time and energy on caring more for yourself. Your D's know the deal. It is not a surprise.
