Mahhty, because the bitching, whining and moaning I'll have to listen to it I don't prob won't be worth it. Because I'm hoping he'll change his mind (yes, I know)

How about something like this.... "At some point all relationships get to a dark place, I am trying to step out of your way so that you can do what you believe you have to. But, I can't deal with you coming back to the house unless you want to work on us, which will not be easy."
