What are your thoughts about this "structured separation " business?

She has talked about outlining a timeline, time spent with kids, "rules" for dating OP, finance etc.

She wants to start with a few months and then re-evaluate our relationship. I'm not sure about this approach. Kinda feels like stringing along to me.
