They say you can only control what you can control so time to really focus on me ghost

My fitness thread hope this will take my mid off my sitch

Well all my life I have been overweight so this is going to be my motivation to really loose some weight

I have already lost about 20 lbs but want to loose 40 to 50 lbs as my first main target

I am not sure I can do the whole if I have not made it then do not eat it ...I am not a. Great cook and I do not have so much time to do this

Most of my life I know I have eaten unhealthy my weight was never an issue for my W but I have always been embarrassed by my weight

I eat a lot of white foods white pasta and whit bread and I sit on my ass a lot of the day at work so I am going to do five things initially

1) Cut out the fizzy drinks sodas cut them out 100 percent
2) cut out the white bread
3) drink lots more water
4) go to the gym 3 times a week
5) keep a food diary everything that I eat and drink everything

I have a busy day working but have schedulaled my day so that I can take my little girl to pre school my goal is every day I will do the drop off at pre school if my W wants to come along then that is fine we live in the same house it is up to her but I will do the drop off and she can do the collecting

Ok, that's good to focus on something. Just a word of caution about weight loss, be careful not to do too much too soon. our body will need time to adapt and if you cut out lots of things too soon, it can affect the actions of your kidneys.

Cut out the fizzy pop though, except as a treat.

Hi Ghost

Try to use the fitness bikes at the gym.

A great way to keep the heartrate up , burn calories and no stress on the joints, ankles, knees etc.,, just a sore a** if you do it long enough.

Also drink a pint of water just before you eat, u will feel fuller quicker.

Take Care

You can do this ghost! Small steps and focus on the positive! What you focus on increases!

Changes in ACTIONS and THOUGHTS will lead to changes in feelings.

We are rooting for you!

Well ok today I did not get off to a good start i want to do this however old habits

So breakfast 1 piece white toast with butter
Lunch toasted cheese and tomato sandwiches 2 x sandwiches white bread toasted

Evening meal baked beans
Breaded chicken fillets
1 hash brown
3 x pints of water
1 x cu coffee 2 sugars

So all in all pretty crap day of food eating need to plan a little better right down to the food shopping

Normally my W does the food shopping for the family she pays for the shopping I think the next time she goes I will make a point of going with her

I think she is cutting back on the spending on the food shopping each week

Going on the rowing machine for 45 mins

and....stay off the scale for the first couple weeks. No point in getting on the scale daily. You will have ups and downs daily depending on the amount of water your body is holding and of course waste matter. Here are a couple bits of info

1. 1 lb = 3500 calories. Losing wt is a math game. To lose 1 lb you need to create a 3500 calorie deficit. It's a slow process creating new habits. Don't worry about losing wt too fast or it won't stick. Most diets do not work because they do not establish new habits. You'll need to establish new eating habits. Plus the word "diet" is a negative word. It contains the word "die" within it smile

2. Eat less, move more, drink lots of water and take a good multivitamin.

Brown bread not white, chicken fillets not breaded, try putting Cajun spices on them instead. Coffee and no sugar or tea and no sugar.

Try slowly grilled salmon fillet with rice
Or Tuna steak pan fried with rice and salad

You'll get there!

You can also substitute computer printer paper for the white bread Ghost, it has the same nutritional value! How about a yummy printer paper and butter breakfast tomorrow?

People who start their day with a healthy breakfast are far more likely to eat well throughout the day and make it to the gym. If you start your day on the wrong track it's easy to stay on the wrong track and say - I'll try again tomorrow.

You got this! Do some shopping too. And throw all the junk out. If it's not in the house you can't eat it right?

I look forward to hearing about your success and transformation.

Stay strong.

PP

Woke up erly it's either writer her or start msg my W and send her some crazy msg so here I am

I really did nt have a a great day yesterday both with the diet and the emotions I just know I do not have control over what happens with regard to myself and my W and this really hurts I know I made mistakes in our marriage and yes I have to live with them she does not see that it is her fault all she can see is that I let her down I did not spend the quality time with her she felt lonley and took herself to bed and cried herself to sleep ....she told me she was unhappy and I know she was crying but I did not realis the extent of her unhappiness so her resentment grew and grew
Why would she want to risk coming back to that

I know there are some success stories in here where they get back together when the sitch has been like mine

Like I say rant here or send her a msg I will regret sending

I plan to try to get to go shopping today and choose some healthy foods for the house
