Mutatio, I am right there with you. I want my wife of a few years ago back, but if she is gone for good then I want to be far away from this woman. Unfortunately, my boys are VERY young. So I will be stuck with these feelings for 15 years or more. We live in a very small town too, and neither of us will move away because of the boys.
I do like your idea of moving to the Rockies. I like Colorado, and Idaho intrigues me too. I would just like to have my own dog back, I don't need a new one.
I too feel very lonely. I try not to be here at my rental house. It's too quiet and lonely. I can only keep myself company for so long!
Hang in there mutatio. You are improving, we all are. Be someone only a fool would leave. It seems to me that we are all getting there.
