Hi RD, I think it's fair enough re. the inlaws. It is a tricky situation and things do change significantly - there's no getting around that. For sure, your W can't expect you to be accommodating them, given she chose to leave your M.
On a lighter note, I heard a little news item about Dublin being voted as one of the best cities to visit - I can't remember exactly how it was described, but it was something like 'vibrant, exciting and pulsing'....that's just like RD I thought
