HDW-for my H, is there anywhere he can go and get excellent medical care to eliminate all possibilities that his lack of interest is physiological. I would really like him to see a specialist. A pill would be great.

disconnected:

Has he had his testosterone levels checked. Does he have any performance issues? What about your relationship. Yours or his body images, anything else?

Family doctor is always a good start. I agree with CeMar as far as getting testosterone levels checked.

Testosternone levels can also be decieving. My h's levels are normal and he still won't perform his husbandly duties. I believe that he is not gay but asexual and passive agressive to boot. What a horrible combination to deal with. He has withheld affection from me and denies that he has. Deep denial that our M ending is primarily because of him.

Good Luck, and keep posting.

I'm certain that my body was in the mode of creating huge amounts of testosterone during my racing season last year and taking a couple months off this winter significantly contributed to a big increase in desire and subsequently led me to the books and dealing with the issues in our marriage.

I'm not a doctor, but having a regular workout for a few months, then taking a break seems like it might be a non-pill approach and it will address other body issues with H. Just 2 cents.

Your husband sounds like mine, and it sounds like you're getting a divorce. I've been with him for 33 years...with kids now leaving...I can do this now, but I'm scared. It's not that I don't love him in a way, I just feel so bad about myself when I'm with him most of the time. I'm talking to a phone counselor today. Sometimes hope just stops what needs to be done. Good luck to you. Shelley
