I'm a lawyer, but I don't play one on TV. If you want, you can email me at slinky22@hotmail.com or just post it here for all the world to see. I guarantee that every question will be intensely researched (although the answers will not), and that any advice I give will be worth exactly what you have paid for it.
Hairdog, who knew that the law degree from the back of Rolling Stone magazine would come in handy one day.
Got an employment question in an At Will employment state. If I have a client that gets rid of an employee but at some point prior to the termination, a manager over the employee makes comments regarding the employees use of sick time (within the company policy) . . . . Does the employee have any grounds for filing a claim against the employer for improper termination if the employer claims the sick time usage had nothing to do with the termination?
Well, I'm not that familiar with employment law. Maybe try some of the legal forums where you can post questions like that for free. I've used something called idivorce.net for family law questions before, and I'm sure with a bit of poking around on google.com, you could find a message board for employment law questions.
Sorry, but I warned you the advice would be worth everything you paid for it.
HA! . . . . well Im an accountant . . . why they ask me this crap I'll never know. Probably because Im cheaper than the lawyer, although I always end up telling them to call the attorney anyway LOL
Thanks Hairdog
Sorry to interrupt the board with unrelated stuff . . . . Alright everybody, back to our HD/LD Misery!
