So in a few weeks he will go on another months long work trip. He will be home to visit our daughter (I assume around once a month) and he will FaceTime her as well. My question is, how much should I initiate? She's used to him not being around, so eventually she stops asking to FaceTime with him, should I encourage it, ask her or leave it up to him entirely?

Today he asked me if he could buy an iPod touch for our daughter, so she can FaceTime him when he's away. Ehh NO! She's 3 years old. Asinine. He said ok and to let him know when I think she's old enough.
Aw man. These past few days have been hard. I feel like every time I see him, I go back to square one. It hurts knowing he's with someone else. I can't figure out if I'm fooling myself thinking he's coming back.
