Well, what a difference a few days makes. I now have an offer on the house and WW wants to accept. It's a little less than I'd hoped and the entry dates are very soon (December). This now means I need to find a place asap. Fortunately I work in a field where I can get access to a lot of information on property for sale.
I have 2 viewings teed up for tomorrow while I have S10. I've explained to WW that I'm happy to accept the offer as long as I have a place to go. Renting isn't an option as it's very cut throat (poor Huddy is just finding this out now if you follow his thread. Hopefully it'll work out for him).
I'd love to be in a new place before the new year. New house, new year new start. It would be such a relief to finally rid myself of the shackles that were the last year and a half of my life.
So fingers crossed. I'll keep you all posted when I find out more.
And one more thing - Ghost, if you read this mate I was in your place not so long ago. I know my M is over for good and I also had all the anxiety over selling up etc. But it will pass if you follow the advice you get here.

Yes it's sad but liberating at the same time. I'm quite excited about getting my own place and starting a new life. If I can get a house where I want I'll be near friends and will have a social life. At the moment living in a village means there isn't much to do so GAL requires traveling. The new place it's all on my doorstep.

Yip, they sure are. Interactions with STBX are simply business and S10 arrangements now. Totally detached and looking forward to the future.
It's hard but stay the path and you get there. May not save your M but after a while when you look back you ask if you really would want to. The last year 1/2 was hell. No way I'd want to be with someone like that. Just no.

Dates for moving in coincide with moving out of the old place. They say these things come in threes so I'm putting on a lottery ticket tomorrow
