So, I took my S to a concert this weekend and it was awesome! He enjoyed it, I enjoyed, so win win I guess. It was nice to have no schedule and to relax and spend the time with my S. My H so often doesn't see the need for frivolous time while on the road, so letting my S "play" on video games for 15 minutes at the rest stop was a novelty for him. He didn't care that he didn't have quarters.
Stopped at a mall, played in a field, it was a good day.
