I showed up with S4 at swap meeting place this evening and XF was already there. I could see by the look on her face that something was wrong, something serious. I got out of the vehicle and asked what was the matter? She broke down immediately and said her best friends pap had passed. I don't know if this was a moment where I messed up or an opportunity to have a lighthouse moment, but all DB went out the window. I reached out to give her a hug, it felt so good! Just to have her in my arms comforting her in a tough time. After prolly about 10 seconds, I felt her relax a little so I broke the contact. Talked a little bit about that and then went our own ways.

Any insight as to whether that was the right thing to do or not? I mean I am still human, she's still human, and she really looked like she needed it...
