Girlfriend, what are you really needing from your H that you're not getting? Cuz we both know that the globe and scarf and gifts for the kids are segues to the discussion you really want to have with him (if a discussion is what you want and not a fight).
If you haven't read back to my old stuff, I can tell you with certainty that this is a horrid idea! What can you do instead to make yourself a little more at ease where you are right now?

If you avoid picking a fight, that's going to happen a lot sooner. Because the way I see it, calling him on this stuff isn't going to bring him closer to you.
