There is a long waiting list for psychiatric help, but yes I was assessed by a psychologist and as traumatised not depressed. Recommendation of IC, which I get once a month on the NHS. I have paid for Relate VSO, I also get weekly Gamcare IC, every alt appointment is Skype. ADs may not help but SRI may when anxiety and flashbacks start.

The psychologist felt the lucid dreams were a good thing. They are almost nightly and unless I write them down then I forget quite quickly. My very favourite one was the marshmallow dream, where I was trying to build a lighthouse with pink marshmallow and chocolate eggs. There was a song in the background which I have heard before about pink fluffy clouds. I was convinced this was needed before the storms came. So was anxious about finishing the lighthouse.

The NHS also sponsored me for the Freedom Program, for abuse and battered spouses (mainly women).

I am involved in Gamanon and helped set up a new local group, I am now a leader in the group, which is quite a lot of responsibility.

In many ways I have a great deal of support and in other ways little. The business end is tough as I am head of a ship with no engine. It's becalmed until I get the pistons moving again. The personal end is swamped with love and support. It is as it is. All of my friends and family have backed me on this, the cheating, lying, manipulating and abuse was very public. It does mean WH gets vilified and it's not very easy to keep saying, I wish him well, trust he finds his hearts desire etc. although often that's not what others want to hear. They want me to feel for vengeance, not my style. I think WH will just move on to abuse again, that's how the psychologist saw it.

I don't get that here on the board, I can acknowledge my Banshee phase and its accepted as part of the process of growing up.

I would like to be able to afford the Essential Experience program next March in the U.S. It's a target for me.
