Hey All, I am GALing my butt off but you are all in my thoughts and prayers daily! I was on the board about 3 days ago and caught up with as many sitches as I had time and energy for.
Here is a little prayer someone passed on to me that I’d like to share:
“Lord God, Your kindness never fails. I trust that You will be with me and have mercy on me every morning. I will depend on You from now on. Amen.”
U-Turn, thank you for the kind words. A ray of sunshine? Are you sure you’re not getting me confused with someone else? LOL! My eyes welled up after my step-daughter left, but not for long. How are you today?
E, it’s always great to hear from you, too!! Quick GAL update: Monday: IC appt. Tuesday: Spent the evening with my children. All 3 are going to college soon and it was our last chance to all get together. Wed: A rare day off from work. I bowled for the first time in 15 years w/a meetup group in the early PM and then went to hear a local band in the evening w/another meetup group. Wow, it was so much fun it should be illegal. Ha ha!
Gr8ful, thank you for stopping by and your never-ending words of encouragement. Any changes in your sitch since the other day. Remember . . . PMA, PMA, and PMA.
Marty, I’ll never forget how you were the first person in the “DB Family” to really take an interest in my sitch, give it to me straight, and help me overcome my fear of posting in others’ threads because I was afraid I would give bad advice. What’s new with you? I do check in on your sitch from occasionally.
BT, thank you for stopping by and adding such a kind sentiment. You deserve the best, too. What’s going on??
Wonka, abandonment issues? As soon as I read those words I knew you were kidding . . . or maybe not? LOL! Your encouragement through these many months right up to your post yesterday, has been invaluable to me. As I’ve posted many times, “What would we all do without you, Wonka?”
I haven’t heard from my W in a long time. This is in God’s hands now and I will accept whatever happens.
I love you all SO MUCH for being there for me. Maybe I need to slow down on my GAL a bit.
I’ll see how everyone is doing later on today.
*Group Hug*
Bye for now.

I want to sneak in here and give you a big high five Bob, before you have to start your next thread.
Your GAL'ing has really inspired me to embrace my own. I know how hard you're working to put yourself out there and that takes real courage. I know you're a man of God and he can help you with that courage, but you're the one that has to get in the car a go.
Good for you Bob, as much as I love seeing you on here, it's been a pleasure to think that you're out in the world spreading your PMA and living a life of joy.
Big hug my friend, PP

V, what a beautiful sentiment. It's enough to make my eyes well up with tears. That's ok, they are tears of joy.
Sending a big hug back.

PP,
Okay, first it's V and now you. Such kind and encouraging thoughts, my friend. The tears are almost coming back... you are the best.
Whether it's online or the "real" world, it's what I'm trying to do. I wouldn't be at this point if it weren't for you and many, many others on this board.
A big hug your way, too.
I'll catch up with your sitch soon.
