On Match there's a section "last read" and one lady listed "The Hardest Thing About Hard Things"...I can only imagine the msgs her inbox must be getting lol. Actually, I googled it and it's a book on building your business.
Thanks BA. The world is strange lol. I went to church today and went downstairs before the service. I felt this slap on my arm and turned around and there was AM with a big smile on her face. She reached her hand out and wished me "happy Sabbath" and said "So how are you, Whatis?" We chatted for a bit and she told me about her bus ride to church blah blah blah. She then said she needed to use the washroom and would be right up to Sabbath School class (she's in my class). After class I was joking with another classmate, she'd just become a Canadian citizen and I told her she had to start saying "eh" more often now. Anyway, AM joined in on the fun. After church in the foyer she reached over to shake my hand, asked if I was going to my friend Agnes' place...we wished each other a good week and that was that. She was like the old AM...it was nice. Hopefully this nonsense is behind us and we can just enjoy each other as church friends again. That would be nice. She might be a little nuts when it comes to male female stuff but she does have a good heart. I'm glad I reached out even when it was hard to do.
Well, coffee date went well. We talked for an hour and a half. She's a very nice lady who thinks about life in the same way as I do. She isn't religious but told me she's open to faith but it just hasn't found her yet. She has a difficult work schedule too. She only has one weekend out of four off. She has Tuesday's regularly and another day which varies. Anyway, at one point I suggested we end and she didn't seem to want to so we talked for another 20 minutes or so. We talked about dating at our age and how relationships grow from spending time together and not just from some instant chemistry. I'll see her again if she wants to see me. We shall see.
Thx BA, at the very least it was a successful coffee date! I'm not sure where she's at though 'cuz this is all pretty new to her. She's only been online since June and is kind of just getting her feet wet. Her six month subscription was a Mother's Day present she bought herself Nice lady, I'll see her again if she wants to but I'm fine either way.
