Newbie needing support and advice

Thank you for your replies! I completely understand what you are all saying and that makes way more sense then what the book said. I went out with my sisters last night and had a great time. He kept texting me stupid questions and took awhile to reply so that he didn't bring me down. I did let him know last week that I was sorry that he was unhappy for so long and I wished he had expressed his concerns sooner. I took responsibility for my faults and let him know that even though I don't agree with his decision I am not going to make the divorce a difficult process. Since then he texts and calls me constantly. I don't take every call and take time to reply to his texts. What is up with that? He wanted to leave and get a divorce so quickly to make himself happy so why all the attention??
