Bea, I agree that many of them wish that they had never left or done the things that they've done...but to admit that they were wrong isn't something that they can do. They have too much pride to ever be wrong until one day...they have nothing left to prove or they are on their death beds and want to actually revisit their lives before their last breath.
Like you said...not our problem.
Sit quietly, the answers will reveal themselves when you least expect them to. The past is gone, the present is a gift and you need to focus on today, allow the future to reveal itself when it is ready.
