ok so I picked up my daughter this morning to take her to the seaquarium and had an amazing time with my d2, went to drop her off at her mom and she asked me to go with her to buy some food for the sunday bbq that they always do at her parents house so ok I went with her and the first thing she asked when we got inside the car was " soo what new with you"? I didn't know how to answer I just said " nothing everything its good everything the same wait, what? Why would you say everything is the SAME? You know she doesn't want to be married to THAT guy, right? I've read on here that you want to go about 80% of what they are giving. So if she's talking about a ton of stuff, then you should give back something. A new hobby you're trying, a new group you joined, a new book. Something. You don't want to make it seem like you're sitting home playing video games!(in a very optimistic tone) the whole ride I tried to sound happy and grateful about the things that are going on in my life.. (new car, my job) try to keep it plain and not too detailed opposite of what she did, she told me that she is going back to blonde, and she told me pretty much everything that she does during the week. I listened and and didnt comment anything on it try to show no interest no no no...you want to be INTERESTED when she's talking. What you don't want to do is ask too many questions about who she's with or things like that. But you do want to ask a few questions to show that you are listening, you want to make eye contact, things like that. , also she wanted to come with me to the gym w/o me inviting her, but she changed her mind. idk if its a progress of anything or its just one of her roller coaster moods.. ohh also while I was with my d2 at the seaquarium she asked me for pictures and how she was behaving I only sent her one picture. I was like u chose not to make part of this anymore so might as well not see how exited my d2 was even in pictures..
I don't know that those are too bad considering you were blindsided with a decent amount of alone time. But those are my thoughts for next time.
