Not sure if this sounds interesting to you, but H and I have been getting up early in the mornings and watching all the birds that are coming to our feeders. We have never really been that into bird watching, but it's actually relaxing and it gives us something new to talk about.
Maybe take some binoculars and get out on a hike with your S and H. Then talk about your observations later in the evening.
Thanks again asitis! I was thinking about the book, but there's nothing that says I can't play solitaire if my H doesn't want to talk. We'll let my little guy stay up late enough for some dark time especially to use his new camping flashlight.

Bob, with my fingers? I'm doing okay I think as I've got some ideas from Matt, Asitis, and Teach that should get me through the nights. I took my S out for his own sleeping bag today and he is very excited.
My doctor called today to tell me that he wants to do surgery on my foot as my MRI came back saying that I have a couple bone fragments running around lose in my big toe joint. I declined until next year because I just can't give him the two weeks of complete bed rest right now with my new job starting. He wasn't thrilled, but understood. I feel good about the decision as I feel like I can't take on yet another stressor right now.
How are you doing?

Eirinn, LOL, with my fingers...another good pun by you!
I just finished reading their posts and I'm so happy you got some ideas from Matt, Asitis, and Teach that should help you. I liked their ideas, too.
I'm so sorry to hear about your foot issue. I understand how that would be another stressor in your life. You seem to have all you can handle now . . . and that's not even including "killer" rabbits. (Yes, I read your post in my thread!)
I'm hanging in there and just posted a few replies earlier, had to log out, and added a quick journal post.
Sending prayers and positive thoughts to my "sister."
Bob
