On the off chance this is the real deal, I sent him a text saying how his family never stopped loving and missing him.

It's the truth. Whether we'd ever take his a$$ back... different story entirely. But, in an effort to keep the door ajar.

He responded that he never stopped loving his family either. Swell.

Then, I sent him a picture of a woman holding a giant a$%4$ lake trout that's going on the sports page. No explanation. Just the pic.

I figured that's a perfect way to end that conversation. :-)
