Eirinn, you can't ignore the possibility either. Part of this process is to protect yourself and your son. despite your great attitude and Focus on you you should at least consider how this behavior could compromise you & son. Is there a boundary that can be set to make sure you are protecting yourself (I will not sleep with my wife as long as she is involved with another man, and even after until she were to take a std test...that sort of thing to absolutely protect yourself from physical or emotional harm).
I think the key us ri be detached enough to see what us going in and not dwell on it. So that behavior does not control OUR lives. Think this is precisely why there is so much support for the LBS to collect Intel to make sure our actions are educated and we do not get hurt even more.
