Have you already seperated all of your finances? Who takes care of paying the bills or are those separated too? If you haven't separated finances, was there a discussion around purchasing the new car? I am just starting to dive into this territory myself.

We only have a joint checking account together and that will be closed later this week. The new car was purchased on her own which is after she left the house and I have it in an email from her that I am not liable for it since we are separated. Just keep a journal of everything and I mean everything just in case things get tricky in the future.
