Good for you to be taking the bull by the horns and fixing up your place. I love to see folks dig in and find the power to do that kind of work on their own.
As far as the ghosts of R's past...is it truly failure if those other people were not the ones you were truly meant to be with? I think I understand what you meant...just curious if that sentiment is how you truly feel or if that was more of a downer.
