Sorry Matt, I disagree totally. Taking care of your child's health and putting their well being first requires no apology. Would you call and rail at your wife if she did this? Of course not, she's looking for reasons to spew at you. If you did it for you D then don't take ownership of a "bad" decision because it wasn't.
If you did it to curry favor then it's a problem. Only you can really know your intent.

Bravo - of course I agree with what you're saying in that the kids health and well being come first.
Maybe I misread/misunderstood the post. My take was that Kembo and W discussed about the doctor. W said she would handle it. (Edit to add Kembo's words: 1. I called doctor to book appointment to help my W out). Kembo tried to be proactive and did it first. What are the chances they both would call the doctor on the same day?
I think it's not THAT he made the appt, it's WHEN he made the appt.
If I'm misunderstanding, then I totally agree with Bravo.
