Lit bit of bad news for W yesterday. Unfortunately our S's benefits are being cut by the Government. I have relayed this to W (as she is expecting to live on these when she goes) and she seemed a little concerned but followed it up with the fact that her sister had told her it wouldn't affect her. Er, not quite right that is it?
Left her with that before she went to her bed.

It's a UK phrase meaning getting the worse prize possible - divorce!
So, W has decided to cancel coming to the counselling session which was a bit of a bummer when I'd just paid for it. Spewfest came forth when I asked why she had decided to cancel. Some interesting stuff came out though.
First off, she said that she thought I hadn't done enough with the kids. Secondly, she thought I spent too long in the bath. Lastly, she resorted to drastic action because she thought I wouldn't listen to her.
So apart from a re-write of history for most of that, we are finally getting somewhere. W then wondered why I was spending so much time with the kids now and am I only doing that because she's leaving (no, It's just being the only real earner, I have to go to work and I did spend lots of my available time with them).
Still lots of negatives in her spew though and not interested in R. She's livid right now, but I did apologise if I'd said anything hurtful in our exchange (that went down like a lead balloon). Of course she's on the phone to SIL straight away. I've come out of the way. W also said she was talking to Council here about housing as well.

You do realise everything is our fault, right? I got the spending time with S9 cr@p as well. Let it slide. Anyway glad you kept calm and collected.
So, I'd back of on the mediation thing for now. It's not on her agenda so leave it be. But I would start to think about the 50/50 rule with the kids.

W had calmed down after her bath last night. Left her phone on the table as she had said I had been snooping on her. Funny, I didn't feel the urge to look.
W has called me twice this morning about meaningless stuff.
