Well UD, after reading your thread I can see why you're such a success at giving people insight. Thank you so much for lending me your ears and eyes.

I can see that my H is probably afraid as well to try and bridge the gap-so much guilt and pain. He just hasn't processed enough. So, tonight I'll see how things go w/him and mention about the C session since he has yet to respond to my call from yesterday. (guess that shows he's withdrawing again)

It certainly is refreshing to know that there are a lot of winners here and I have witnessed a few of them myself. I feel that you are crossing that bridge and patience and time you will be just fine. I'll be waiting for more. Tootles.......

Dawg,

I wonder if our WAS has somekind of syndrome that works on lunar cycles or something cause your S and mine are acting the same way lately. All of a sudden, things need to be worked out, their defensive posture is gone and they seem more grounded. Why, I don't know.

Looks like your sitch is getting better and better for you. I am very happy for you, you have not only worked hard at it, you've helped many other people with their problems as well. You have been very helpful with my sitch and can't thank you enough.

Hang in there, you are doing the righ thing. Your hubby looks like he is coming around.

By the way, when are you coming to DC? Is your schedule full or do you have time to meet up for lunch somewhere?

Karenx2--Thanks for the nice words! Love2Win Karen--I'll be over to your thread in a minute.

Berto--I was gonna write you today! I'm getting into town (DC, that is) late on the 30th and am heading back here on the 4th. What is your schedule at work? Can I drop in at your restaurant?

If not, we can meet at Roosevelt Cemetery... Think your relatives can keep a secret?

Bets

Dazed--Well, I like that statement too, but I can think of a few others that would top my list and make my year:

1. I am eternally grateful for your patience and love
2. I live to serve you.
3. You're the best thing that ever happened to me.
4. I love you more than anything else.

However, I'm going to settle for where I am right now. Patience, ocean buddies. Who'd have figured?

Well, I took Z out to dinner at my folk's restuarant in September. They couldn't figure out if I was lying to them or not. I told them that she was a fellow DBer that got a better ticket into DC rather than our DB event town, Va Beach. My typical Italian father says......."Let me understand you, you took out a beautiful woman to our restaurant and I am suppose to believe there is no hanky panky? I know you better but with all this "Crazy Making" you and your W are doing to eachother, I think that your head is a little too wound up." I laughed so hard, I almost wet myself. My parents are so old school.

We can do whatever wherever, I think lunch would be fun because the weather will be very warm and being outside durning spring is intoxicating, for me at least. Gets the lead out of my system, being indoors all winter long ya know.

TO get in touch with me, Debberto Aol.com I don't mind putting my email out there, I could use some company. LOL

Maybe we can the DC lunch a threesome; I'm getting into town a lot these days. What's the name of Berto's restaurant and where is it located?

Sounds like a deal! Merrick, are you from DC too? Or just a frequent visitor?

My e-mail is underdog_dbatyahoodotcom - So let's do it! Maybe Wed or Thurs? Preferably Wed, because my dad's bday is Thurs and he's taking Thurs and Fri off. But I can be somewhat flexible...

Berto, are you out near Lake Braddock? Or am I totally out in left field? Merrick, my dad works for a law firm downtown, so I can always head down there too... right next to the WH.

Lemme know!

I live in Alexandria by Mount Vernon, George Washington's home. I'm minutes from DC and the Springfield area. The name of my family's restaurant is The Alpine, it's in Arlington. Though I'd love to meet in DC for lunch if that is OK. Spring is awesome and eating outside is a bonus because in the summer, DC is way too hot and humid to be outdoors.

OK, a threesome it is!

Are you kidding me? NO WAY! The Alpine?????? My parents love that place... that was where we celebrated my high school graduation as well as my dad's college graduation.

Holy shmoly it's a marvelous place! Maybe I'll have to make reservations for Dad's birthday....

I'm totally impressed!!!!

I don't want to tie up the thread, but another amazing DB coincidence. I know the Alpine. I lived in Ballston at one time and went to George Mason Law School. My DC sked is iffy because it's mostly business travel for legislative type meetings. But it has been very regular as of late. Bets, I sent you an e-mail under another alias if I got your address above right.

Regards,

Merrick
