Another day has passed and I have little to update.

I'm down nearly 9 lbs since last week, and am encouraged by the progress. So much so that I headed out and bought myself a few new clothing items and a new purse. Woo hoo!

I called Mr. Wonderful from my cell to his (sounds like a new movie title) on my way to my hair appt last night. Per the usual, he was jovial. Oh, and when he heard my voice, he mustered even more enthusiasm! Bob is certainly going to demand compensation when this is all said and done (he will have deserved it too).

Anyway, he was explaining something sort of perplexing to me, when I asked a question. He answered nicely, "I don't know, honey." A term of endearment? I wonder if it slipped out or if it was on purpose, but it made me smile.

This morning, I had to call him before heading out to the gym--to see what their plans for the day were and to make arrangements for the girls' return. He was VERY happy it was me, and proceeded to tell me about their night.

The girls were still sleeping (and it was late), so he felt unhurried to talk to me (though I was more hurried). I asked specifically what his plans were, meaning with the girls, but he offered that he was heading out to dinner with some work friends tonight.

I repeated my question, making sure it included the girls, and he said nothing--they were just going to hang out today. Then he asked me what my plans were tonight?

I said, "Well, since the motor home is parked out front, we're going to have game night in it--because it won't be cold since the weather is so nice."

MW: "Oh? Who's WE?"

Me: "Me and the girls. D10 and I can play Rummikub while D7 plays. You know how much she loves dorking around in the camper. Maybe I'll pull out the little TV and put in a movie so she feels like we're camping."

MW: Did I detect a hint of nostalgia or longing? "That sounds like fun. Good idea, Bets. Might as well have some fun before it goes in for work. Be careful with the broken glass--there are still some small pieces up by the driver's seat." (From our break in last summer)

We didn't talk about anything more that was interesting, so after we set the schedule, I said I had to get moving. He sounded a bit disappointed...

So I guess we'll just wait and see what sort of decision he makes. I'm not on pins and needles, but I sure would like to know... Since I asked for Step 3 and got a decent and workable answer, I will remain AS IF I am patient for his reply.

Have a good weekend and just keep swimming!
