I'm not sure I validated enough. I did say I can understand not wanting to wait, but that was it. We just went back to answering questions. I believe he just wants answers, and waiting isn't one of his strengths. Should I bring it up again tomorrow when we finish the paperwork?

Eirinn, my nephew had been evaluated for a while, then speech therapy (he doesn't speak at 3). The process takes time. That is so very important to make sure the little one gets the best possible.

His school district didn't have that available... They had to go private care with everything.

Lots of stress 4 sure. My SIL is going nuts. Brother not much help there... But even when he tries she takes over. You are in a very tough spot between what you think may be best for son and trying to work on M. You have to do what you feel is right for that boy!

Well I called him this morning and we talked about what to do. I validated left and right. He wants this center to do the testing as they have the best reputation. He just doesn't like the school saying they can't do anything until the testing is done. We decided he would talk to a friend of his who is separated from schools but knows the routine. Went well I think.

And then I realized I had a tick attached to me.

Sounds like the center with a good rep is the way to go.

Teach, I was itchy all day with just the thought of it! I hate the little buggers too.

We're going with the center but my H wants to see if it can be done before next school year.

Hello Eirinn,

How are you today? Are you able to stay focused? I know it's tough.

Sorry I haven't posted in almost 1 week, I have been super-busy. I was on-line yesterday for awhile and caught up with several sitches but didn't get around to yours. Something came up that I had to attend to, then I picked up my son and we watched the hockey game last night.

I have another GAL activity this afternoon.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
