No, but how she could just dismiss it really gets on my goat. I made sure S9 did special things on Mother's Day.
So gently remind her that it's Fathers Day. And then YOU Create the best Father's Day you want to have. DO not expect her to do it.
This does 2 things 1) most importantly it creates a great day for YOU and your kids. You take control of your day and show that you are an adult who isn't waiting to be handed something. AND
2) it's also a day that your kids will remember well (and for sure they will tell your w about it, which is excellent).
No matter what your w says, every mother is touched by the loving interactions of her kids with their fathers. For most of us, it's a turn on emotionally.
Be the best dad you can be for them, b/c it's the right thing to do...and also, yes, there's a payoff beyond even them.
And stop snapping. That feeds right into her negative images of you. Don't fuel her fire.
And It reeks of having no self control. Women are attracted to strong men,
which means men who are in control of themselves - not trying to control others.
