Mighty, the Facebook idea came from my DB coach about 2 years ago. I was not on FB at that time and really didn’t have any desire to join. H was not on FB either, and I thought he would never be on it. He said that he would never join this social media cr@p. So, I kind of ignored that advice from DB coach.
Well, 2 years later, look who is on FB. I think he is there even more often than I am. From what I’ve heard…
So, yes, it was kind of interesting that he even replied to the post. I’m not sure if he realized that by commenting on the friend’s post made him visible on my timeline as well. I think he probably knows it now, because of my friends also commented on that post, hehe.
I’m sure my GAL is intriguing him. One of his complaints and reasons to break up with me was that I was not social enough and didn’t keep in touch with people.
I do have to push myself sometimes. I’m just not the one of these high energy people who thrive on the social interactions. I need my quiet time. But… You know what! I’ve notice that I’m actually enjoying all these outings, and having good time with my friends and family.
Speaking of that… Had a nice brunch today with my GF, my son, my sister and her family, and my BIL (H’s brother)! My son came with the buket of nice flowers for me. We all had a great time.
On another note, there is no card from H. I also didn’t get a card from his older brother’s and his wife. I always received a card from them on time. Maybe my comments about their daughter’s wedding and how my son was not invited reached, and that I was upset about it were conveyed to them. Or, maybe before they were not so sure about our situation. And maybe now, after meeting with H a few times, he told them that it is really over. Just a speculation. And an observation. Doesn’t really affect me that much.
I ate so much today… I hope tomorrow at work they will not have a cake for me... I think I celebrated my b-day enough by now, LOL. Need some quiet time…
