Last week, I had to jump through hoops to get another one. You have to get a letter from the pediatrician, go to the orthortics place with the S9 before they close an after school closes. It's a lot of work basically.
So I work on it about two weeks and get it taken care of last week. It's blue and pops in his shoe and makes his gait a lot more even, so he can walk and run better.
I texted W, and said "Gentle reminder - please don't throw out the blue shoe insert, it's easy to mistake it for the regular shoe insole and I know you are getting him a new pair of shoes, thanks."
Her response?
"This is the 4th remnder. I've got it. I'm the one who ordered it from the Doctor."
Whoa..... 4th reminder? No, incorrect. She's the one who ordered it? Incorrect, maybe from 2 years ago. We need a new prescription for each orthotic insert."
Again, she baits me, but I will not get into it. Not worth it, but is it is just me or is that pretty hostile?
Our S9 benefits from this orthotic a great deal, not that I was looking for any thanks, just be aware that I got it and he's wearing it kind of text.
I don't know maybe she see's it as controlling, but honestly I didn't want it to get thrown in the trash with his old shoes.
