Heavy. I don't think u did anything wrong. Sounds like you kept your cool and made it about the kids. The ww is impossible for me to understand. My ww tends to find anger and indifference to be her go tos. If she's mad at me, it makes it easier for her to justify we she's doin what she is. Maybe yours was mad or annoyed because you have her no reason to be and she's grasping.
Who knows? You can control you and it sounds like you did a great job in a difficult situation

I agree 100% with Ripken! I'm proud of how you handled the situation.

No I didn't want to get into an argument but I am 100% confused as to why she would do that and take off the kids hats saying "we already have hats at home!"
Why is she soooo angry with me? We had no r talk, nothing deep at all just polite chit chat and then boom!
It feels as if she is baiting me into an argument. But I didn't pick up the bait, I just walked around it.
To me it seems like she was feeling insecure in herself. You acting calm and strong around her possibly makes her take a look at her own actions. The hat and sunscreen, in her eyes, may have seemed like a challenge to her parenting ability. When your breaking up your family and know your being a bad parent anything small that reminds you of that wouldn't be welcome. Just a theory, could be wrong.
IC explained this possibility with my W's own anger that occasionally comes up. When I asked her not to bring children around OM she was furious. He said in her eyes I was reminding her of the choices shes making for OM and what shes doing to her family. They don't like being reminded of those things. Easier to just blame another and not think about it.
Basically, her anger is about her, not you.

Accept what is, let go of what was, and have faith in what will be
Fogg is right on. Maybe she is starting to see the mistake she is making. But remember, no expectations, ok?
You'll get thru this latest episode of hers!
Take care

I don't know about that - just another dose of weirdness from her. I didn't get sucked in and I am proud of that aspect. I am sad that she is so so angry right now and points the cannon at me.
True, its hard to say. But I'm so happy to hear that you are proud that you didn't get sucked into her game-playing. You should be!
I am so proud of you, too. You are an inspiration to me.

Last week, I had to jump through hoops to get another one. You have to get a letter from the pediatrician, go to the orthortics place with the S9 before they close an after school closes. It's a lot of work basically.
So I work on it about two weeks and get it taken care of last week. It's blue and pops in his shoe and makes his gait a lot more even, so he can walk and run better.
I texted W, and said "Gentle reminder - please don't throw out the blue shoe insert, it's easy to mistake it for the regular shoe insole and I know you are getting him a new pair of shoes, thanks."
Her response?
"This is the 4th remnder. I've got it. I'm the one who ordered it from the Doctor."
Whoa..... 4th reminder? No, incorrect. She's the one who ordered it? Incorrect, maybe from 2 years ago. We need a new prescription for each orthotic insert."
Again, she baits me, but I will not get into it. Not worth it, but is it is just me or is that pretty hostile?
Our S9 benefits from this orthotic a great deal, not that I was looking for any thanks, just be aware that I got it and he's wearing it kind of text.
I don't know maybe she see's it as controlling, but honestly I didn't want it to get thrown in the trash with his old shoes.
