And to clarify, by not getting in her way I just don't pick up the papers at her lawyers office that I have 21 days to respond to? What happens if I don't sign or respond?
Wait these are legal letters!
You need to pick these up and show them to your own lawyer!
Right. This is my point. She already filed. How does not helping with the paperwork (not picking up or signing) do any good. I did tell her yesterday I don't want a divorce but u make your own choices and it's clear u do. I understand that.

Don't touch those papers nor try to pick them up yourself. Get a L right away. Then your L will contact W's L and inform her/him that you are being represented.
You need to be completely honest with your own L and tell him that your W is having an A with the OM which is the reason for her filing for a D. Request that your L delay the D for as long as possible.
For all legal matters, let your L handle them. Remove yourself from the equation completely. You are not a professional lawyer so don't try to talk with your own W about the house, assets, etc. Let your L handle that sort of stuff.
Rip, seriously...YOU do need to find a L asap. No more foot dragging.
You would want to contact a few and find one that you feel best fits your needs. Trust your instincts when screening them. Don't tell them that your W is in an A with the OM. That is only after you've found a L that you want to work with.
When calling around for a L, just ask general questions to get a feel for the person he/she is and if you two are able to work together.
