Hate to hear he was hitting the animals ;( I know things aren't always fluffy and fuzzy with animals and since I eat meat I don't delude myself on how things work but being mean or hitting creatures through rage, that's a nono. Sorry to hear you had so much of this before, I'm however glad you're not experiencing it now and I hope regardless of what path comes up you dont have to deal with it again.
